Service Description
Course Summary: Semi-permanent make-up, also known as micropigmentation, is a temporary cosmetic treatment using specialist techniques with a machine. This procedure involves pigment particles being placed into the skin dermis layer. This treatment can last 12-18 months. This course is designed for experienced SPMU artists who would like to learn a new SPMU treatment or those looking to improve their skills. In this course you can learn the art of semi-permanent eyeliner technique by utilising a permanent makeup machine and needles. This course will prepare you to design, shape and implant semi-permanent colour to resemble a soft and natural look for your clients. Course Duration: The duration of our Eyeliner Masterclass course is 1 day and will be held in our Benfleet clinic. Entry Requirements: If you just want to complete the SPMU Eyeliner Masterclass only, the pre-requisite is either an accredited Microblading Brow qualification or a SPMU Brow Qualification. Course Structure: This course will begin at 10:00am. You should aim to arrive to the salon for 9:45am where possible to prepare for the day. From 10am until lunch you will cover SMPU eyeliner theory including: • Health and safety and salon hygiene • Appearance of the therapist • Professional, ethics, standards of practice • Sterilization methods • Ergonomics • Storage and insurance • Sharps and disposal • First aid • Blood Bourne pathogens • Anaphylaxis and managing complications
