Service Description
Course Summary: Eyelash extensions are a cosmetic treatment used to enhance the length, curl, fullness, and thickness of natural eyelashes. The extensions may be made from several materials including mink, silk, synthetic, human or horsehair. They are applied on a 1:1 ratio, which means one extension on one natural lash. This allows you to achieve an understated, natural enhancement. Our eyelash extension course will teach you how to professionally prepare the eyes, apply individual eyelash extensions and safe removal techniques. This course will provide you with the creative skills and commercial knowledge to build a strong client base. Course Duration: The duration of our Eyelash Extension course is 1 day and will be held in our Benfleet clinic. Course Structure: This course will begin at 10:00am. You should aim to arrive to the salon for 9:45am where possible to prepare for the day. From 10am until lunch you will cover classic lash theory including: • Introduction to classic lash extensions • Introduction, Health & Safety Law • Professionalism & code of ethics • Hygiene • Contra-indications, Contra Actions & Examples • Anatomy & Physiology (The Skin & Hair) • Consultation If time allows, you will then be allocated time to practise on practise lash heads. You will then have a break for lunch. There is a fridge and a kettle in the salon that are available to use, and various shops on the high street to be able to purchase refreshments. From 1:30pm until the end of the day, usually around 4:00pm, you will be able to practise on live models.
