Service Description

Course Summary: Brow lamination is an eyebrow perming treatment that involves correcting the brow shape by setting the hairs in place using a solution. The brow hairs are secured in place using a style fixing product, the brow hairs are then fixed into their new position. Brows are cleansed to remove all residue of products and stray hairs tidied to reveal the new perfect brow. During this course you will learn how to create fluffy natural brows using this technique. You will cover all the stages involved in this treatment including brow preparation, accurate brow measuring, brow lamination and aftercare. Course Duration: The duration of our Brow Lamination course is 1 day and will be held in our Benfleet clinic. Course Fees: Our Brow Lamination course is £199.00. A deposit of 25% is payable at time of booking, the balance is then to be paid no later than 7 days prior to the course date. This price includes your own training manual and a basic starter kit. On successful completion of the course and after case studies have been seen by your trainer, you will receive a fully accredited certificate. Accreditation: This course is fully accredited with ABT. Course Structure: This course will begin at 10:00am. You should aim to arrive to the salon for 9:45am where possible to prepare for the day. From 10:00am until lunch you will cover brow lamination theory, including: • Hygiene, health & safety • Sterilising Equipment • Professional Ethics & Standards of Practice • Anatomy and Physiology • Consultation • Contraindications/contra-actions • Treatment • Aftercare • Medical emergency • Storage – insurance You will then have a break for lunch. There is a fridge and a kettle in the salon that are available to use, and various shops on the high street to be able to purchase refreshments. From 1:30pm until the end of the day, usually around 4:00pm, you will be able to practise on live models. We recommend to arrange 1-2 models, the first arriving at 1:30pm and the next (if applicable) at 2:30pm. Models can be arranged for you with enough notice. If you are providing you own models they will need to come to the salon for a patch test more than 24 hours before their treatment. This can be done by calling the salon to arrange. Models: We recommend for you to arrange your own model for this course. Models may be provided for you for the duration of your course however this is not a guarantee. Models will require a patch test at least 24 hr
